(L-W Painterly, Rubenesque, Let’s Skate!) ^ Notice how pretty and sparkly Let’s Skate is in the swatch!?! (The glitter is easier to see in the swatches below.) This one is quite opaque, it’s not as smooth as the others (due to all the glitter), but will still cover any discolouration quite nicely. It is an almost white base jammed packed with loads, and I mean LOADS of beautiful multicoloured glitter. The most recent paint pot I’ve purchased is called Let’s Skate a “pale pink with pearl” as MAC describes. It’s the smoothest paint pot I own, and always looks great no matter now rushed the application was. It’s absolutely gorgeous on it’s own, or paired up with a sparkly gold patted on top. Rubenesque is described as “golden peach with gold pearl”. Not too long after getting Painterly, I was gifted Rubenesque from my mom. I apply with a clean finger, to warm the product up a bit, and it blends out flawlessly. Instead of using it for colour, I use it as a primer of sorts before applying any eyeshadow to make them last all day without creasing. It’s great at making your veins/discolouration around the eye area disappear.

Painterly is a very opaque light “nude beige” colour, and not too different from my skin tone. I’ve watched many youtube beauty gurus proclaiming this as a “holy grail” eye product. (L-R: Let’s Skate!, Rubenesque, Painterly) So far I’ve only collected three of these suckers, but I’m sure it won’t be long before I add more to my collection.
